What do the quoted prices include?
All prices quoted include the printing or sewing of your logo. Embroidered logos include up to 15 colors and 6,000 stitches. Printed logos include one color and one position. Most logos fall within these limits. We will contact you immediately if there will be added fees for additional placements and larger or more complicated logos.
We allow total/combined quantity pricing for printed or embroidered items where all items are printed/embroidered with the same ink/thread colors, using the same prepared screens/designs on the same continuous production run.
Will I have a chance to approve my artwork? Yes. Prior to printing or embroidering, you must approve all artwork. Changes made at your request are subject to an editing for additional work.
What are the guidelines for submission of artwork? Art must be camera-ready in programs such as Corel and PhotoShop. Artistic though they may be, doodles, napkin sketches and rough pencil drawings are not camera ready and, therefore, can’t be used.
Can you prepare my artwork? Yes. When you choose us to render art services, a per-hour charge is made. The minimum charge is $65.00 per hour for graphic services. Total charges are estimated prior to producing your order.
Assignments requiring extensive detailing, line work or creation of original graphics including logos, corporate identification, conceptual renderings or photographs converted to line art are quoted prior to acceptance of your order.
Unless otherwise arranged prior to production, all artwork rendered for your order remains the property of our art department and is maintained at our plant for our exclusive usage in executing your orders.
Are there fees if I set up my artwork? Camera-ready art is best. Art preparation charges may apply otherwise, depending on the quality of the art submitted. All digitized files for embroidery are the property of Alpine Graphic Apparel Inc., and will be maintained at our plant for our exclusive use in executing your orders. If you would like a copy of your file, you must make your request when your order is placed and pay the greater of $100.00 or twice the digitizing fee. Electronic art such as jpeg, eps and bitmap files are welcomed and may be sent via email.
What happens if you have to back order? Orders requiring us to backorder a portion of the original quantity will be completed as soon as the backorder is received. We will advise you of shortages or other difficulties that may affect your scheduling requirements.
What is your cancellation policy? All orders are considered firm when placed. No cancellations are accepted on finished merchandise. Cancellations made prior to production are permitted, subject to charges for artwork in progress; completed screens or embroidered-design setup; restocking and handling charges of merchandise prepared for production.
What if I have copy changes? Copy changes are subject to additional art and preparation charges where appropriate.
Can you guarantee consistency of dye lots? Due to market conditions and mill variances, we cannot guarantee consistency of shades to match precisely order-to-order and dye lot to dye lot.
Do you have standard colors? All standard and pastel colors are available for screen-printing and embroidery. Custom colors and PMS colors for screen-printing are available. We will match colors as close as possible, but due to the nature of thread, ink pigments, dye colors and fabric characteristics, we cannot guarantee exact colors or tint. Some ink or thread matches are subject to surcharge.
What is your standard imprint size? Left chest design for screen-printing or embroidery is recommended and should not exceed 4 inches by three inches. Full front or full back is determined by design and /or stitch count.
Can you personalize garments with names? Individual names in either block of script are $4.00 per line. There is special pricing for Department of Justice logos. Personalized names are normally located on the opposite garment side of the logo. We cannot guarantee personalized names under the embroidered logo after the fact due to alignment problems.
What is your policy on laundering and shrinkage? Some shrinkage is unavoidable in knitted garments. To minimize shrinkage, follow washing instructions on the garment label. Do not use bleach on colored fabrics. Do not iron over imprint or embroidered design. Avoid harsh detergents.
Do you guarantee consistency of sizes? Due to market conditions and mill variances, we cannot guarantee consistency in sizes to match order-to-order or brand-to-brand. Contact our sales office or refer to the sizing chart on our online company store for sizing information.
What about overruns and under runs? To maintain production efficiencies, actual quantities invoiced will be shipped. We are allowed a plus or minus five percent difference on promotional items such as pens, badges, stickers, etc.
Do you have differing pricing policies? Merchandise is sold at prices in effect at time of shipment. Prices are subject to change without notice. In between quantities are priced at smaller quantity levels. Our listed prices are for sizes XS - XL. There is a small additional charge for sizes 2XL - 4XL, depending upon the garment and quantity ordered.
What is your standard production time? New screen-printed orders average seven to nine working days from the time we receive your order and subject to your prompt approval of the artwork. Re-orders may have faster turnaround time. After we receive your deposit, production will begin. On new embroidery items, allow three to four working days for art preparation and sewn sample. Once we receive your approval of the sewn sample, allow an additional seven to nine working days for production.
Do you provide proofs? Paper and email proofs are available at no charge. For other questions about samples, please contact our sales office.
What is your return policy? Prior authorization is required for returns. All claims must be made within three days of receipt of goods. All returns must be sent freight prepaid and all cartons must show our return authorization code. Our liability ceases upon shipment, therefore, you must make claims for merchandise that has been lost or damaged in transit directly to the freight carrier.
What about revisions? We will make every effort to accommodate requests made prior to production, but cannot guarantee inclusion. Restocking charges and/or additional set-up charges may apply.
Do you offer rush service? Immediate production priority may be assigned to orders subject to critical deadline commitments, especially those requiring less than seven working days service. Contact our sales office at once and advise us of your choice of styles, imprint specification and shipping order. A surcharge will apply, normally 20% on the total invoice. Advance payment in full may be required, including estimated freight charges. If the production schedule precludes your approval of proofs, your purchase order must include the following wavier: “No proofs required. Execute order, imprint colors, styles, sizes and art instructions as closely as possible to meet deadline commitment.”

What are your payment terms? Unless other arrangements are made with prior approval of our credit department, art preparation and set up requires payment in full before any work begins. All orders require payment in full before productions begins. We accept orders prepaid with Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
What are your shipping terms? We ship FedEx Ground. Shipping charges are estimated, invoiced and prepaid before order processing. All other major services are available upon request.
What is your minimum? Please understand that due to set-up time and productions considerations, quantity pricing is based on minimums specified for each garment. The minimum production quantity for embroidery is 15 units. The customer may choose any garment that can be embroidered with the same design in the same color thread, except for caps. The minimum production quantity for caps is 15 units of the same style cap.
Do you guarantee your work? We unconditionally guarantee your satisfaction. We guarantee the permanence of our stitching FOREVER. If you are not happy with our products or services, we will work to satisfy you completely.
